National Postal Strike
Our usual option for our customers is Canada Post Expedited service. This has now been suspended until further notice. We have 3 alternates currently available:
1- We can calculate the shipping for Canada Post and put in it the queue to be shipped following the strike.
(in stock items must be paid for)
2- We are shipping daily via couriers (some addresses are unavailable for this option)
3- You can pick up in store.

Special Note for all our USA Customers: Please be aware the de minimis exemption rules have ended for all shipments to the USA. Items purchased through the postal/courier network from any Canadian retailer will be subject to a duty rate of 30% or up to $200 per item. We have therefore suspended all order shipments to the USA until conditions change.
We've had many customers asking about tariffs and how they may affect their reservations and incoming orders. Government tariffs are now being charged to manufacturers of most model train products. These tariff rates vary depending on the originating country. Our pricing for reservations does not include tariff surcharges as they will change again prior to the product's arrival. As new items come into our store, the pricing will be adjusted to reflect the applicable nation's tariffs applied by the manufacturer at that time.
This is an ever changing situation, and we will post more details as we receive them.

Advance Reservation Service
After announcement, manufacturers give a 'reservation window'
from the time of this announcement to the time reservations must be finalized.
For some, this is only a few weeks to a month.
Manufacturers will only guarantee your reservations if we receive
your advance orders by their deadline. We clearly show these deadlines on our Coming Soon pages, when we are provided with the date.
Ordering by this deadline is the only way to avoid missing out
on popular items and most limited-run models.
